11 Reasons Most People Do Not Work On Their Attitude

Most people do not care working on their attitude these days. It seems, attitude is no longer valued in the society anymore.  Are there factors that contribute to this? If there are factors that contribute to this issue, what are those factors? No matter what people do or say, attitude is still the king. Below are some reasons most people no longer work on their attitude:

1.       Life is about beauty and fashion: These days, people see life to be about beauty and fashion. It is this perception about life that is making or driving people crazy doing all sort of things. Most of the people are more concern with their looks. The best way for people to project themselves nowadays is through beauty and fashion.

Those who see life to be about beauty and fashion are partially correct. Why? People with wrong attitude to life hide their naughty self through beauty and fashion. Although, the first impression of people about you should be based on attitude but unfortunately, most people based their first impression about others using beauty and fashion. 

Most people with poor or bad habits hide under the cover of beauty and fashion. That is most people do all they can to show case them with their beauty and fashion instead of show casing themselves with their attitude. Because, most people see life to about beauty and fashion, most people no longer work hard on their attitude.

2.      Men love what they see: One relationship fact is that men love what they see. This statement can be confusing in the sense that the term men is also used in the context of human beings generally. Here men (both male and female) that is everybody or everyone, love what they see.

What do people see? People see beautiful things such as, fine houses, cars, cloths, jewelries, gold, diamond, money, shoes, expensive perfumes, just to mention but these. For the purpose of this topic, men here, is strictly the male. Men love what they see.

They see the physical beauty of the women and they are influence or carried away by it. Men often think that the way the physical beauty of a woman is that is how their attitude will be. But this perception is just an opinion. 

It is not a fact. Because men love what they see, the tendency to be influence by what they see is very high. Most times, the beauty of a woman is what capture the man before their attitude. Because men love what they see, many women, no longer work on their attitude.

3.    Women love what they hear: Another relationship fact is that women love what they hear. This has made many men to indulge in telling fancy lies to women. Majority of men do not find it funny telling a woman about his real self in most dating relationship because of the mentality I cannot date a broke guy by women.

Most men are afraid of losing the love of their lives, so men indulge in telling fancy lies to catch what they love. Most men, who present themselves the way they are, are mostly rejected by the ladies. So men have learn to use fancy lies to achieve their aims. 

Until women learn to filter what they hear, that is when the men that tell lies learn to stop telling the lies.  In this case, most men love to present themselves in a big way before the women. Whether they are real or faking it only time will tell. Because, women love what they hear, many men no longer work on their attitude. 

4.      Appearance is given more attention than personality: In our society today, and in relationship and friendship, the core problem is the issue of given more attention to appearance than to personality is very obvious. Most times personality is relegated to the background. And appearance is placed higher over personality.

 

We tend to judge people more by their appearance than by their attitude. Unfortunately, appearance is a temporary thing.  Sometimes, we misjudge people by their appearances. We give people who are low in attitude high marks because of their appearances. Because appearance is given more preference than attitude, most people tend to do little to work on their attitude.

5.     Life is about having money: The key emphasis here is having money. Life is about money. Just make your money anyhow you can, nobody cares as long as you have money, you are okay and you are good to go. When you are broke, no one cares but when you have money, everyone love it and everyone care.

Life is all about money have becloud most people judgement. Because, life is about having money, most people do not have the time to work on their attitude. We tend to look down on people who do not have money and we go all the way to demean them.

But for those who have the money, they have our respect even when they do not deserve such respect. Because, most people see life to be about money, most people do nothing to work on their attitude.     

6.     People’s attention is on what you have: What do you have? Is all that count and nothing more? People value you based on what you have. If you have more, people will value you the more but if you have less, they will value you less or even lesser. But what you have should be first and foremost your attitude, then other things can follow but the reverse is the case.

To some extent, nobody care about your attitude but what you have. Because most people attention is on what you have, you end up doing little or nothing about your attitude. Most people, no longer work on their attitude due to the diversion of people attention to what you have in terms of material possessions.    

7.      Seeing is believing: when you compare appearance or physical beauty with attitude, you will see that physical beauty tend to be more pronounce than attitude. People do not see attitude much faster as appearance. People see appearance or physical beauty faster and quicker. What people see they tend to believe?  

Since seeing is believing, most people focus more on what they see quicker than attitude. Attitude takes time to build. Because of this concept of seeing is believing, most people avoid working on their attitude. Instead they focus on their appearance or physical beauty.

8.     Women love powerful men: one critical fact in relationship and friendship is that women love powerful men, men they would not like if they were not powerful. Powerful men means be financial buoyant, be successful, be in position of authority, become a celebrity, and have a lucrative work or job.

Every man is struggling to present himself as powerful man before his love or crush or the person he is admiring. This is one reason some men love faking their lifestyle or pretend to be somebody they are not. Some men who are not rich pretend to be rich or fake to be rich. While some men who are actually rich disguise as poor men or broke men with different intentions.

Most women tend to give their attention to men who are powerful than to men who are not powerful. Since, women love powerful men, men tend to focus their attention in becoming powerful. Instead of some men to focus on working on their attitude, they are always busy trying to become powerful.  

9.     Television impression: Television impression is making people to think that physical beauty or appearance is better than personality. In most media advertisement, appearance is given more prominent place. We have fashion shows, advertisements, beauty pageants, or pageantry, and celebrity shows.

 All these are more gear at promoting appearance or physical beauty. Based on this television impressions, viewers think appearance is better than personality. And that is why most people do not take their time to work on their attitude. Television impressions is deceiving people.    

10.   Most women tend to approve the careless spending of men: It seems that, most women love the careless spending of some men. They approve it by their actions and demand. Most men carelessly spend their money to impress the women. The men do so because most of the women approve of it.

Until the women disapprove of the careless spending of some men, those careless spending will not stop. Because some men are thinking that most women love their careless spending, they try using it to their advantages. If this is true, that is why many men no longer work on their attitude. They carelessly spend their money to attract the women.  

11.   They think more about pleasure: People think more about pleasure and how to go about getting it. In most cases, people are governed or dominated by flitting pleasure or urgent pleasure. As a result of these influences of flitting pleasure on people, most people often run into wrong conclusions.

The more people think about their pleasure, the more they have no time to work on their attitude. Thinking more about pleasure is a foolish thing to do. Instead of thinking more about your pleasure why not think more about working on your attitude?

So, one reason why most people do not work on their attitude is that they think more about their pleasure than their attitude.
