32 Things That Stop You from Facing Your Deepest Fear: Part 2
Recollect: Our deepest fear is that we are stronger than we
think. We are stronger beyond measure. People fear that they are not strong
enough or not good enough, whereas, they are better than they think. In facing
our deepest fear, certain things tend to stop us from facing our deepest fear.
Thereby, limiting us, from doing what we are capable of doing. Our deepest fear
is the strength we have that we think we do not have. Here, are some things
that tend to stop us or you from facing your deepest fear:
13. Pessimistic tendencies or feelings or attitude: The word pessimistic means expecting the worst possible outcome. This pessimistic feelings or attitude is demoralizing. Success calls people to always expect the best. Because, people get what they expect. If you expect the best, you will get the best or if you expect good thing, good thing will come. But if you expect the worst, you will get the worst.
This pessimistic feeling often make people mind unstable. It makes people not to able to think deeply before deciding on what to do. It also weakens strength of people who have this attitude. They find it too hard to give in their best into their works. You cannot fight your deepest fear as a result of pessimistic tendencies because you are fond of expecting the worst in anything that you are doing. One reason why most people do not want to inconvenience themselves is this pessimistic attitude of expecting the worst.
When you are expecting the worst to happen, you would not want to work that hard. Pessimistic tendencies or feeling or attitude encourage laziness in the individual or person who is being governed by such attitude. Your pessimistic feelings prevent you from fighting your deepest fear. For pessimistic people, their deepest fear is the fear of success. To be able to fight your deepest, you must learn to always expect the best because people get what they expect.
14. Fear and Intimidation: Fear is an emotion experience in anticipation of some specific pain or danger (usually accompanied by a desire to flee or fight). Intimidation is the feeling of being intimidated; being made to feel afraid or timid. The works at the level of most people dreams are difficult or very difficult. Soft people tend to fear the works at the level of their cherished purpose because the works are intimidating.
They are not always ready; that is why soft people cannot and do not always win their wars. Fear or intimidation is making people to make or take wrong decisions. Tough people are not afraid of the works at the level of their dreams. They are always ready to face the risks. But soft people are often govern by fear and intimidation. And that is why they are not prepared or ready to face the risks. Most people tend to fear the work at the level of their dreams because of fear or intimidation.
This make fear and intimidation one of the factors why most people do not like the works at the level of their dreams and thus, stop them from fighting their deepest fear. Most times, most people are busy doing every other things but the main thing. Fear and intimidation is the factor responsible why most people love doing every other things but the main thing. Your deepest fear is that you are born to succeed and win. Fear and or intimidation is one thing that is stopping you from fighting your deepest fear.

Acceptances of resistances or excuses: The word resistances are flimsy excuses popping up in your mind of your inadequacies or limitations you have that can prevent you from doing what you can do. Most people have one excuse or the other that is dragging them backward or pulling them down from going forward. Resistances are excuses which pop up each and every time you about taking serious decision about doing something to achieve your dream.
These excuses keep coming to make you to change your mind concerning what you want to achieve. Some of the resistances are; are you sure you can do this, Is this thing not going to take long time to do, do you have the strength to carry this your plan, is not better you leave it and try another, do you want to waste your time, why not leave it and do it later or tomorrow and so the resistance goes. Your resistances are also part of what you must try to overcome.
When you cannot overcome your resistances, or when your flimsy excuses start dominating you, your strength or your power of actions begins to get lower and lower or get weakens day by day and the tendency to give up on your dream is very sure or certain. When you are able to reject your flimsy excuse or resistances, it makes your strength to get strengthen. The more you are able to reject your excuses or resistances, the more your strength get strengthen and the more you are interested in doing what you are supposed to do.
When you accept your flimsy excuses, they begin to influence you and rule you and dominate you. You no longer have the power to resist them. You will stop fighting your deepest fear and you will not have the will power to fight your deepest fear any longer or any more. Your deepest fear is that are you good and strong enough and you can resist your resistances or flimsy excuses. One thing that stop you from fighting your deepest fear is the problem of acceptances of your resistances or excuses.
16. Lack of faith in your dream: Most times, people have faith but their faith is preventing them from doing, the things they should do. Your faith is strong when you are interested in doing works. When your faith is progressing, your actions should be equal to your progress in faith. Your works must confirm your faith. If your works are equal to your faith, your faith is strong.
Your strong faith should make you to be interested in the works that can make you to gain the object in view. But when you are not interested with the works that can make you to gain the object in view, your faith is a weak or dead faith. Most people tend to dislike the works that can make them to gain the object in view because their faith is weak or dead.
But having a strong and unshakable faith, makes you to like all the works that can make you to gain the object in view. Those who often gain the object in view are those who love the works that can make them to gain the object in view. Most times, people have faith but their faith is preventing them from doing, the things they should do. Your faith is strong when you are interested in doing works. When your faith is progressing, your actions should be equal to your progress in faith. Your works must confirm your faith. If your works are equal to your faith, your faith is strong.
Your strong faith should make you to be interested in the works that can make you to gain the object in view or your cherished desire. But when you are not interested with the works that can make you to gain the object in view or your cherished desire, your faith is a weak or dead faith. Most people tend to dislike the works that can make them to gain the object in view because their faith is weak or dead.
But having a strong and unshakable faith, makes you to like all the works that can make you to gain the object in view. Those who often gain the object in view are those who love the works that can make them to gain the object in view. Lack of faith in your dream, weakens you and make your mind unsteady. You will totally lose focus of what you are supposed to do and be doing.
Your faith strengthen your power of action or strength and make your strength equal your desire. Any desire of yours can be achieve because, faith gives more power to your strength and forces your desire to come true. Your lack of faith in your dream is one thing stopping you from fighting your deepest fear. Your deepest fear is that you are power and you can chase your dream.
17. Unnecessary complains: Complain is the express complaints, discontent, displeasure, or and unhappiness. People have complain for one thing or the other. In this case, people complain unnecessary because, they do not want to go to the end of their strength. Or they do want to bring all their strength into their works. People complain because the works are depressing or difficult or distasteful. People complain because they do not want to work that hard.
People complain about works because they love to pamper or over pamper themselves. People complain why their duty must come first in protest of the success principle that says, ‘duty first and pleasure thereafter’. Unnecessary complains weakens one’s strength and mind. Success does not give room for procrastination, but some people love to procrastinate. So, they complain unnecessary, why they must not do it now. Must I do it now? Can it wait later, they ask or say.
Unnecessary complains limit people from doing what they supposed to do
and should do. Most people often lose their strength as a result of unnecessary
complains and thus, lack the power or strength to fight their deepest fear. The
deepest fear of most people is working hard. Most people do not like it. To
fight or face your deepest fear stop complaining unnecessary and face all that
you have to face.
18. Despondency or heartsickness: Despondency or heartsickness is feeling downcast and disheartened and hopeless. Going by the meaning of despondency or heartsickness, when you are feeling downcast and disheartened and hopeless, you will lose your strength and your focus and subsequently, you lose your success or victory. You will become disinterested in chasing your dream. When you do not have hope or when you are hopeless, what you are supposed to do and should do and must do makes no meaning to you.
You no longer care about what must do and should do. Despondency weakens strength and lower your power of actions. It makes people to dislike the works at level of their dream. Unknowingly, despondency is a source of distraction and discouragement and frustration. It makes people lazier than they expect. Your deepest fear is that you are strong and powerful.
The reason most people cannot face their deepest fear is that they are frequently govern by despondency or heartsickness. So, when you have no hope, and you feel downcast and disheartened, you will lose the power to face and fight your deepest fear. Despondency or heartsickness is one thing that is stopping you from fighting your deepest fear.
19. Impatience: When you are not patient or when you lack patience, you easily tend to lose confidence in yourself and in your abilities. You will be doubting yourself into defeat. You can no longer think deeply before making decision or taking a step. The reason why most people act hastily and rashly is because of impatience. Most people stop chasing their dream at one time or the other due to impatience.
Impatience makes people to stop doing what they should be doing and influences them to do what they are not supposed to do. Impatience makes you to give in to fear and frustration and discouragement and worry and anger. It is a distraction for those who seek success. Impatience creates unwanted obstacles and increases the number of obstacles or difficulties you have to face. But patience on the other hand instill confidence and positive self-worth and outlook.
Patience makes one’s mind stable and helps to maintain steady focus on one’s dream. To succeed, one needs patience. Your deepest fear is that you can return a thousand times to the most distasteful duty or most depressing duty to get it done. Impatience is one thing that is stopping you from fighting your deepest fear. Be patient and fight your deepest fear till the end.
20. Doing the trivial things now and leaving the important job later or waiting: Doing the trivial things, or the less important things now is a sign of not getting or setting your priority right. It shows a lack in wisdom. How can you be doing the trivial things now and leaving the important job later? It gives a clear picture of a person who do not know what he or she really wants. Most people love spending most of their time doing the trivial things and have no time to do the important thing.
Wrong priority scale is making most people, to do the last thing first and the first thing last. You can never achieve your dream doing the trivial things first. Because most people love doing the trivial things, they often lose focus of the main thing or the important thing. No matter how hard one works, doing the trivial things; he or she will never gain the throne.
To be able to make your dream come through, you need to get down and do the important thing now, the less important things can wait. Your deepest fear is that you can do what you supposed to do. Doing the trivial or less important things first and leaving the important job later or last is what is stopping you from fighting your deepest fear.
21. Low expectation of yourself: The low expectation of yourself is a block and a distraction. When your expectation of yourself is low, you will always do low things and you will love doing and chasing after the low or lesser things. People most often get what they think about and expect to get. If what you are thinking about and expecting to get is low, it will subsequently affect your actions. What you are supposed to do, you will not be able to do them.
Low expectation of yourself, weakens your strength or power of actions. It is very difficult to achieve your cherished desire, when low expectation of yourself is governing you. Instead of low expectation of yourself, you can choose to have higher expectation of yourself. This will motivates you to give in the best into your works.
When your expectation of yourself is a higher one, you will always stand and fight to the end. Most people cannot fight their battle till the end because of low expectation of themselves. Your deepest fear is that you can do better than you can imagine. One thing that is stopping you from fighting your deepest fear is your low expectation of yourself.
22. Escape: The word escape means, an inclination to retreat from unpleasant realities through diversion or fantasy. It is to fail to experience. It is nonperformance of something distasteful that you are supposed to do. Mark Nepo stated that, “Joy is the transformation of our suffering, not the escape of all we have to face. Escape will prevent and hinder you from gaining your cherished desire or the object in view.
To transform your suffering into joy or blessing, you will need to face all you have to face. Some people can be hard working doing certain less important things but in facing the important thing, the same people can become lazy. Why, because, most people do not like distasteful or unpleasant works or duties. In facing such unpleasant things, escape is the best option for most people.
The more people try to escape distasteful duties or works, the more they find it hard to achieve their dreams. Your deepest fear is that you can face all you have to face. But one thing that is stopping you from fighting your deepest fear is escape.
