18 Ways You Can Develop Positive and Healthy Mentality:1 


Mentality or outlook or mindset is a habitual or characteristic mental attitude that determines how you will interpret, and respond to situation. Our can be weak or strong, healthy or unhealthy. When our mentality is at the downside, how can we successfully develop our mentalities? Below are ways one can develop positive and healthy mental attitude.

1.     1. Pay full and complete attention to your work or to a task: Paying a proper attention to a task is always a function of diligence and not giving or paying proper attention to a task is always a function of negligence. Diligence helps to promotes healthy mentality while negligence demotes your mentality or promotes unhealthy mentality. People tend to give divided attention to a task or prefer to give less attention to a task.

This can be seen in the act of people ignoring and forgetting their works or duties or a situation where you are spending much or all your time on chasing less important things. Ignoring and forgetting your duties and chasing less important things promotes unhealthy attitude. While attending to your work or standing by the work assigned to you promotes healthy mental attitude.

2.     2. Be positive, optimistic and cheerful always: When you are positive, optimistic and cheerful always, you are trusting yourself into winning and excellence. When you are trusting yourself into winning, it boast your confidence and enthusiasm in yourself and in what you want to or intended to achieve. Being optimistic is to be hopeful or expecting the best to happen.

The best is yet to come is the belief and mentality of the optimistic people. They see things from favorable terms. This make them to stay happy doing the best. Until you are doing the best, you cannot be optimistic about the outcome. To develop a positive and healthy mental attitude, learn to always be positive, optimistic and cheerful.

3.     3. Face the risk and pay the price: Face the risk and pay the price simply mean to do all the things that need to be done. Do the things you should be doing. Do the necessary things that you need to be doing or do. Face the risk is to go through problems instead of going round the problems. Most people do not know that problems are prices to greatness that is why they tend to complain and ignore their responsibilities.

The risks are the problems. Paying the price is to deal with these problems or going through the problems. Going through a problem is to pursue the problem to a conclusion or bring the problem to a successful end or completion. To develop a positive and healthy mental attitude, you must learn to pay the price.  

4.     4. Belief in yourself, aim higher and think big: You must belief in yourself because God believes in you that you can do certain things, and He knows that you can do it. But the question is, do you belief in yourself? If God believes in you and you do not belief in yourself, there is still a problem. Your belief in yourself brings out the hero’s in you.

You need to form the character or attitude of believing in yourself, this is very important. It start in the small moment and it is display in the big moment. It is your belief in yourself that propel you to aim higher and think big. Thinking big and aiming higher is to be positive about yourself and what you want to and can achieve. These help you to develop positive and healthy mental attitude.

5.     5. Do not turn from toil and hardship: This is one hard principle of success that most people are not comfortable with. Toil and hardship do not go down well with people. As much as people do not like the principle, but it is the truth. If you turn from toil and hardship, you cannot put food on your table. This principle concord with the others, that goes thus, you must finish your race and fight your battle till the end.

The act of finishing the race and fighting your battle till the end is synonymous with toiling and hardship. There are no options for you to make your choice. You have no choice about this, you just have to finish the race and fight till the end.  You cannot catch success when you are turning from toil and hardship.

The really message in the principle is that you must do the things you should do no matter how difficult and depressing and distasteful the works or duties are. To develop a positive and healthy mental attitude, you must not turn from toil and hardship.   

6.     6. Always make positive confessions: Your positive confession is boaster. It boast stability of mind. It strengthens you and gives you focus and direction. Your positive confession defines your actions. It step up your actions. It moves your power of action into the required or expected level. You cannot confess positively and be doing another things else. Your actions goes with your words. They are not separable.

The more you utter positive words, the more your belief in yourself increases.  The things that you see people do are traceable to the power of their words, or the weakness of their confessions. To develop your positive and healthy mentality, you must learn to always engage yourself in positive confessions. You need it.

7.     7. Utilizes your full or complete strength: It has become a culture for lot of people not to be interested in using their complete strength in doing their works. When you are utilizing your full strength in doing your work or to do your works, you are deeply motivated to get the work or works done. But in a situation where your concern is to use half of your strength in doing your works, you will not often get the best outcome from such strength.

People who achieve their dreams faster are those who often utilizes their full or complete strength to do their works. Until you learn to use your full strength in doing your works, you may probably not be able to get to the throne. To develop you mental attitude or mentality, learn to utilize you full or complete strength.

8.     8. Refuse to lose heart: Refusing to lose heart is a choice people make on daily basis. When you refuse to give up on your dream, the more you keep chasing that dream, the more you catch it. The less you go after you dream, the less you catch it or the more you are losing it. When you lose heart, it affect your mentality or mental attitude negatively. But when you refuse to lose heart, it affect your mentality positively. This further affects your actions negatively or positively. Refusing to lose heart is an element or quality of faith which help you to develop a positive and healthy mentality or mental attitude.

9.     9. Give the best into your work: This is somehow similar to use your full strength. It is your choice to go for the best by giving the best. You cannot get the best by not giving the best. It is what you give that you get. Giving the best bring out the best that are in you. If you cannot give the best into your work, what do you expect? Less gain, big losing.  To develop your positive and healthy mentality, learn to give the best into your work. You will thank yourself you did.
