Recollect: Our deepest fear is that we are stronger than we
think. We are stronger beyond measure. People fear that they are not strong
enough or not good enough, whereas, they are better than they think. In facing
our deepest fear, certain things tend to stop us from facing our deepest fear.
Thereby, limiting us, from doing what we are capable of doing. Our deepest fear
is the strength we have that we think we do not have. Here, are some things
that tend to stop us or you from facing your deepest fear:
23. The limit you often set for yourself: One negative factor that often instill fear in most of us is that, most people love setting limit for themselves. They do not want to expect more from themselves. That is why, they always think in terms of giving little to gain their heart desires. You cannot gain your heart desire, when you are setting limit for yourself. When you set certain limit for yourself, it means that, you cannot go above or beyond that limit.
You have limit what you can do and achieve. By so doing, you cannot expect more from yourself. This habit of setting limit for oneself weakens one’s strength and softens one’s mind. In the face of special difficulty, because you have set limit for yourself, you will prefer to pull back or withdraw from going further. When you have set limit for yourself, it makes it difficult for you to achieve your desire or dream.
To be able to achieve your dream, you need to expect more from yourself.
By expecting more, from yourself, you are able to do more. It boost your
self-confidence. Your deepest fear is that you can do more to make your dream
come through. One thing that stops you from facing and fighting your deepest
fear is the limit you often set for yourself. You are unstoppable. Stop
limiting yourself.
24. Lack of persistent endeavor: The word persistent means never-ceasing. It is stubbornly unyielding. While the word endeavor means, a purposeful or industrious undertaking (especially one that requires effort or boldness). It is an earnest and conscientious activity intended to do or accomplish something. It is an attempt by employing effort. When you want to achieve something or a desire, your persistent endeavor is critical in helping you to gain that thing or desire.
Persistent endeavor make you to be consistent and constant in doing the things intended or required to accomplish a goal or a purpose or a desire or a dream. It is only when you are persistent in doing the things you are supposed to do and should do and must do that you can gain success. The more persistent you are in your endeavor, the more you gain your intended purposes. Your persistent effort makes you stay strong and thus, make your mind stable.
By so doing you are able to fight your deepest fear. Your deepest fear is that you are powerful and strong than you think. But when there is lack of persistent endeavor or effort, it become too difficult to gain your intended purpose. This lack of persistent endeavor weakens your strength and makes your mind unstable and as such you become unable or unfit to fight your deepest fear. So, one thing that can stop you from facing your deepest fear is your lack of persistent endeavor.
25. Determination
not strong enough: The term determination means the quality of being
determined to do or achieve something; firmness of purpose. It is the act of
devoting full strength and concentrated attention to something. It is being
strongly motivated to succeed. It is the act of making up your mind about
something. Most people do not like to use or bring their full strength into
their works and are very poor in giving concentrated attention to a task or
duty.
The habit of not wanting to bring in your full strength into your works and the inability to give concentrated and persistent attention to your duties cannot help you to gain your cherished desires or highest purposes. This is because, your strength and your attention are not corresponding to your cherished desires.
The truth is that, to gain your highest purposes or your cherished desires, you are expected to bring into your works your full strength and not part of your strength and pay or give concentrated and persistent attention to your works or duties or responsibilities. This is what makes your power of actions or strength to keep increasing.
When your determination is not strong enough, you attention to your responsibilities will be divided and you will prefer to use little of your strength in doing your works. This is one single reason, most people are not always fit or capable to gain their highest purposes. Most people do not like to make up their mind about what they supposed to do and should do and must do. When your determination is not strong enough, it will stop you from fighting your deepest fear. Make up your mind to do what you must do and what people think you cannot do.
This will make your power of actions or strength to improve and increase. When your determination is strong enough, it makes your power of actions or strength better. And you are fit and capable to stand and fight your deepest fear. If you must gain your dreams or your cherished desires, let your determination be strong enough to drive you crazy going after your cherished desires or dreams.
Why because, your strong determination, strengthens your strength. And make you willing to fight your deepest fear. When you have the determination to overcome obstacles or problems or difficulties you will. Your deepest fear is that, you are capable and fit and strong. You can do it.
26. Desisting: The term desisting means, cease, stop, pause, forbear, stay, leave off, break off, and give over. It is to cease to proceed or act; to stop; to forbear; - often with from. Going by the meaning of desist, you can see that when it matter most to face the risk, you choose to desist. In the face of difficulty or special difficulty, when some people are persisting, you will be desisting.
Going by these success principles, one or ten thousand defeat –keep going and if you are going through hell keep going and prepared, if beaten or bidden, to return a thousand times to the most depressing duty or most disagreeable duty. Most people find it hard to keep going in the face of many or several defeat, the best they often do in the face of defeats is to desist. To stop chasing their target.
Desisting make people incapable in facing or fighting their deepest fear. To fight your deepest fear, you need to persist the more. Napoleon maintained, “Victory belongs to the most persevering”. Your deepest fear is that you are strong and you can do it.
27. Procrastination: Procrastination is slowness as a consequence of not getting around to it. It is the act or habit of procrastinating, or putting off to a future time; delay; dilatoriness. It is the act of procrastinating; putting off or delaying or deferring an action to a later time. Procrastination is delay in taking vital and necessary action or step when it should be taken. It gives room to postponement of necessary decisions or actions or steps.
It makes people to pick interest in going around their problem. It is a source of distraction. It distract people from what they are supposed to and should do. Procrastination contribute in weakening one’s strength or power of actions. It also create fear in people. It also encourage misplacement of priorities or wrong setting priorities. Procrastination is so powerful because, it stops you from fighting your deepest fear.
It does not allow people to face all that they have to face. One thing that stop you or other people from facing their deepest fear is procrastination. People deepest fear is that they are capable of doing what they are supposed to do and should do and must do. You can do it now, not later.
28. Remaining
in your comfort zone: When people love their comfort zone to the point of
making it, their permanent zone, they would not be interested in doing anything
difficult or stressful or that challenges them. When you are in your safe
heaven, you would not be interested in discomforting yourself. Most of the
people who love their comfort zone do not like to do works that make them
uncomfortable and unhappy.
Because of the love they have for their comfort zone, they find it too hard to see their problems or difficulties as prices to their own greatness. Problems or difficulties are opportunities for progression to better things. They are stepping stones to greater joy. When you are in your comfort zone, you will think nothing is better than that comfort zone. It keeps you stagnant, instead of flowing and growing.
Your comfort zone limits you in taking critical decisions and making relevant choices. Remaining in your comfort zone weakens your strength even though, you are comfortable and happy with that comfort zone. You will not be able to withstand your deepest fear because of the love you have for your comfort zone. Remaining in your comfort zone is one that would stop you from fighting your deepest fear. Your deepest fear is that you can do exploit because you are unstoppable. Michael John Bobak maintained that, all progress takes place outside the comfort zone.
29. Inability to cope with hardship or hard knock or adversity: The key word here, is cope. The word cope means, to encounter; to meet; to have to do with. It is to enter into or maintain a hostile contest; to struggle; to combat; especially, to strive or contend on equal terms or with success; to match; to equal; -usually followed by with. It is to match one’s self against; to meet; to encounter. It is to come to terms or deal successfully with.
Coping with hardship or hard knock or adversity makes one to become tough. It makes the mind stable and steady. It makes you to face all that you have to face. The ability to cope with hard knock makes you not to lose your hope.it keeps you hopeful that the best is yet to come. You are optimistic about the situation you found yourself and you are doing something great about it. The ability to cope with tough times keep you strong and strengthens you to keep going. This ability to cope with adversity makes you to be able to fight your deepest fear.
The inability to cope with hardship or hard knock or adversity makes you soft and weak. It makes you to easily give up on hope and on your dream and on yourself. It stops you from fighting your deepest fear. One reason most people cannot fight their deepest fear is the problem of inability to cope with adversities. Your deepest fear is that you can fight all your battles or wars.
30. Laziness: Laziness is the inactivity resulting from a dislike of work. Laziness is a vice. It limits people from achieving their heart cherished desires. The habit of indisposition to action or disinclination to work is a feature of laziness. Laziness make people to form the habit of neglecting or dodging or ignoring or forgetting their responsibilities or duties.
Laziness deprives people of their successes. When you are lazy, definitely, you will not like to do work. You will prefer your pleasure before your duty. This is misplacement of priority. This happened, because of laziness. Laziness is one of the reasons why most people do not to know that problem or difficulties or duties or the works at the level of their dreams or cherished purposes are prices to their greatness.
Laziness is stopping most people from fighting their deepest fear. When you are lazy, you would not like to work. The things that you can do, you will not be able to do them any longer. Laziness weakens people and makes their mind unstable and unsteady. And by so doing, they become unfit and unqualified and unsuitable to fight their deepest fear.
Your laziness limits what you can actually do. Laziness also create fear in people. That thing that is stopping you and other lazy people from fighting their deepest fear is laziness. You can only fight your deepest fear when you are hard working. Your deepest fear is that you are stronger and better than you think.
31. False hope/dead hope: When your hope is firm or lively or active, you will not be deterred from doing the needful. It encourages you to do more to gain more. Your firm hope makes you to be strong and encourages consistency in what you are doing and should be doing. When your hope is a firm one, it makes you to always be positive and expect the best of the best.
Your firm hope motivates you to face all you need to face. But when your hope is a false or dead one, it prevent you from doing the things you have to do. False hope or dead hope, plays the same role as loss of hope. Your hope is a false hope or dead hope when it makes you not to be willing to pay the price or face the risk. Your false or dead hope is stopping you from fighting your deepest fear because, you are not willing to work.
You have hope but you are fond of neglecting or ignoring or forgetting your responsibilities or duties. When your hope is a false one, it will weaken your strength. It will discourage you for doing what you are supposed to do and must do. It makes you lazier. But your firm hope, keep you busy doing all you need to be doing and should be doing.
You cannot stand and fight your deepest fear when your hope is false or dead. You need a lively and firmly and active hope to fight your deepest fear. One thing that is stopping you from standing by your task or work or duty and fight your deepest fear is your false or dead hope. Your deepest fear is that you can achieve the best but you are not willing to give in the best. People who achieve the best give in the best into what they are doing.
32. Frustration: Frustration is a feeling of annoyance at being hindered or criticized. It is the act of frustrating; disappointment; defeat. It is the feeling that accompanies an experience of being thwarted in attaining your goals. Frustration kills one’s happiness. It brings undue sadness or sorrow and anger. It weakens the mind and the physical power of the person experiencing it. In the face of one or more disappointment or defeat, people choose to be sad.
Instead of keep going, many people will quit or give up. Frustration often comes, when you cannot overcome your difficulties. Overcoming difficulties is a daily thing. It is not a onetime affair. That is why it said that, one or thousands of frustrations, keep going. Do not give up. When you give in to frustration, you will not be able to fight your deepest fear. Refuse to accept or reject frustration. It distract you from what you should be doing.
You will lose your mind when you are dominated by frustration. Your mind becomes unsteady and moves everywhere. Your deepest fear is that you are not born to lose. You are born to win and shine like a star. To fight your deepest fear choose to be happy and do not allow your frustration to get the better of you. One thing that often stop most people from fighting their deepest fear is frustration.
When
you are not interested in fighting your deepest fear, your deepest fear will
keep terrorizing your life and make your life uncomfortable. One single reason
most people seldom attain their dreams is that, they refuse fighting their
deepest fear. The above variables are the various ways most people refuse
