19 Things That Will Establish You For Real: Part 2

Recollect: Very often, the things which disestablish people are often taken to be things that establish people. But the truth is that, the reverse is the case. Many things people are thinking will establish them are not the things that would establish them. The word establish in relation to the topic, means to make stable or firm; to fix immovably or firmly; to set (a thing) in a place and make it stable there; to settle; to confirm. Here, are somethings that will establish you for real which many people may not be aware of or assume to be ignorant about or which they tend to disregard:

      11..    Reasonable or restrained love for drinking and perfume: A critical study of my                                  neighborhood, reveal to me that, unreasonable or unrestrained love for drinking and use of                      perfume by some people is encouraging wastages of their money. People tend to spend carelessly            because of their love for excessive drinking and use of perfume.

                 Careless spending brings in poverty into many people lives. Excessive drinking is now                           becoming a serious problem to many people. Many people cannot do without drinking                             excessively. Drinking moderately sound funny to them. People brag about how good they are in             drinking much of alcohol. Many people are competing real time in drinking of alcohol. They                   spend their money carelessly on competing who can drink much.  Excessive drinking is one area             people waste their hard earn money on daily basis. Unreasonable or unrestrained love for                         drinking of alcohol and use of perfume is what is disestablishing many people.

12.  Complete confidence in yourself and God: The complete confidence you have in yourself and God can help you to get establish. Your self-confidence helps you to lean into challenges and make you to do something difficult every day and see difficulties or problems as opportunities.

The confidence you have in yourself and God will make you to do substantial work daily. This confidence will make you to accept that you can do anything worth doing to achieve your purpose. 

This confidence kills the fear in you that tend to prevent you from doing distasteful work or unpleasant work. You can be establish, when you have the will to be able to do all that you should be doing. So, it is confidence in yourself and God that can establish you for real.      

13.  Active hope: This is the unshakable confidence you have that God is going to reward you if you do what is required of you. This means that having hope goes with doing of what is required of you. Active hope keeps awake of what you are expected to do. Your hope is active when it makes you to be interested in doing the things that are required or expected of you. 

When you are more concern about doing what you are supposed to be doing and when you are paying proper attention to your work or task or duty or responsibility, you hope in this case is an active hope. But, where the hope you have is not making you to do what is required of you. Your hope is a false or dead hope. Since false hope is influencing people negatively, by making them to be disinterested in doing what they are required to do or what they are supposed do.

It means that having a false hope cannot establish you. What can establish you for real, is having an active hope.   

14.  Follow your positive passions or desires/seek after your dreams: Most often, most people tend to follow their corrupt passions than their cherished desires. The path of your cherished desires is quite different from the path of your corrupt desires. It seems easy for people to go after their corrupt passions than to follow their positive passions. I do not know why. 

It may be because, evil is easy and good is difficult. But, if good is easy, why is it very difficult for people, to follow their positive passions or dreams. The truth is that, dreams are hard to follow. The more people follow their corrupt passions, the more their positive passions or dreams are left unfollowed.

Following your corrupt passions cannot establish you. You can only get establish when you are following your positive passions or dreams. To get establish, follow your dreams no matter how hard they may be to follow. Just follow your dreams:  

15. Avoid casual, illicit and unrestrained sexual activities or practice: Another thing that affect people negatively, in trying to get establish is the issue of casual, illicit and unrestrained sexual activities indulged in by many people. On daily basis, some people waste their hard earn resources or money on casual, illicit and unrestrained sexual activities. 

The more you indulge in this unrestrained sexual activities, the more you get disestablish. Many people, have wasted huge sum of money as a result of casual, illicit and unrestrained sexual activities. It is very difficult for people who cannot control this sexual activities to get establish. If you must get establish, you must learn to avoid this casual, illicit and unrestrained sexual activities.

16. Obeying the rules of chasing your dreams: Most times, people love cutting corners. They do not want, to obey or follow the rules of chasing their dreams. To get this very clear, the rules for chasing your dreams are often stated in principles and ideals. For examples, success must be pursue, the more you chase it, the more you catch it. 

The emphasis is laid on, ‘must be pursue’. There is no other alternative of getting to success without paying the price. Some other principles says, you must finish the race or you must fight, till the end.  The stress is on the word ‘must’. This means that you cannot get establish by not obeying the rules.

There are rules to chasing one’s dreams. If you find it hard or difficult to keep to the rules, it will be very difficult to get establish. One thing that will help you to get establish is to always obey the rules of chasing your dreams.   

17. Overcoming: Overcoming is the finding of a way to tackle or deal with a problem. It is the act of gaining victory over difficulties, challenges or obstacles. It is the action of focusing your mind on never giving up. It is getting on top of a problem or difficult situation. It involves dealing successfully with a difficult or special task or work or situation or problem. 

Overcoming help people to develop the attitude or the ability to face and challenge the problem that confront them. It is not possible to get establish when you have not overcome those challenges, or difficulties before you.

To get establish for real, you need to overcome the problems in your front by going through them as soon as they arise. If I cannot stand by the task or work at hand and to do what is expected of me, where is my merit? My merit lies in overcoming the problems or challenges on my way to get establish.

Until I stand by the task at hand and do what is expected of me, overcoming is not possible when I am desisting. The thing that establish you for is overcoming difficulties and challenges and problems.

18. Winning: This is the act of getting your task or duty or work or other main things done well. It involves a series of activities or actions to get a duty well performed or executed or carryout. It is finishing your work well. Winning comes when you are paying concentrated attention to a task.

When you are doing your work rightly, when you are doing the right thing at the right time, and when you are doing what you are supposed to be doing. You cannot be talking about winning when, you are doing the reverse of the qualities above. 

It is very difficult to be establish when you are losing. You are losing it when you are not doing your work well, when you are doing the right thing at the wrong time, and when you are neglecting your duties. One thing that establish people for real is winning.

19. Listening to the call of your heart:  Listening is the act of hearing attentively. Listening is to pay proper attention to do the right things, to do what is expected of you, to do what you are supposed to do, to pay the price, or to face the risk, and to refuse to quit or give up. The call of heart is not something that destroys you. 

 It is meant to uplift you. Listening to this call, is one of the most difficult things you can or will achieve. The call of the heart involves finishing your race or fighting till the end with all you have got. Your intelligence and might without compromising the standard.  When you listen to the call of your heart, you can be rest assured that you are on your way to get establish for real.
