One crucial issue here, is that self-pampering discourages likeness for work or the inclination to work. So also, a dislike for work or the disinclination to work encourages self-pampering or self-gratification or self-pleasing.

2.     2. The acceptance of self-made impossibilities: Impossibilities are things which are incapable of existing or occurring. Some of the impossibilities in the little world of an individual are not real but false because they are man- made or self- made impossibilities. These false impossibilities are sometimes created by the individuals themselves or by people around them and sold to them.

By accepting these impossibilities, they become real impossibilities to that individual. This means that certain things may be seen as impossibilities by one person while another person is not seen that the same thing as impossibilities.

When you accept certain things or actions as impossibilities. You will always dodge it or avoid it. Sometimes, people ignore and forget their responsibilities because they perceive or assume those responsibilities as impossibilities.

3.     3. Not wanting to inconvenience oneself: This is another problem of its own. You do not want to inconvenience yourself or kill yourself or extend yourself. You only prefer the easy or simple things or duties. You are not comfortable with doing anything that makes you uncomfortable and unhappy.

You are not interested in seeking and doing things that are difficult and challenges you. This is a common reason why some people try to ignore and forget their responsibilities or duties. One of the effect of not wanting to inconvenience yourself is that it makes you to frequently give in to complain.

4.     4. Influence of resistances:  Resistance is the action of opposing something that you disapprove or disagree with. While resist is to express opposition through action or words. There are certain oppositions within the individual person that tend to discourage the person from taken actions to solve his or her problems. These inner oppositions are called resistances.

Because they show up in your mind to stop you from taking steps to do something that you need to do. Some examples of resistances are; you are not good enough, why bother yourself, do you think you can achieve it, you are not meant to suffer, it will take time to be achieved, enjoy yourself life is too short, can you do it, do it later, etc.

These resistances are also called flimsy excuses. You need to be able to fight these resistances or inner forces or flimsy excuses to be able to do what you are supposed to do.

The inability to resist or fight these resistances, will or can stop or prevent you from doing the things you ought to be doing and should do. Most often, some people ignore their work because of the influence of resistances or flimsy excuses.
