People Who Avoid Taking the Path of Their Highest Purpose often Do So Because of These 18 Things: 2

Recollect: The highest purpose of people has its path or route to get it. Everyone is facing the challenge of which path is the right path to get to one’s highest purpose. Some people may take the wrong path but are thinking it is the right path. Some other people are on the right path but they are thinking they are on the wrong path. We are always confuse of which path is the right path. Follow your dreams or highest purposes. They know the way or the path. Here are some reasons most people avoid taking the path of their highest purpose:

1.     11. Refusal to give in the best effort into your work: Whether the works are simple or difficult, one is expected to give in the best to get the best out of your works. The failure to give in the best is the problem most people are facing while taking the path of their highest purpose. The path of one’s highest purpose is full of hurdles or battles or most disagreeable or most depressing or most distasteful duties or works.

Theses hurdles must be crossed or jumped or the battles must be fought or the most disagreeable or most depressing or most distasteful duties must be performed or executed before you can gain contact with your highest purpose. You must be the miracle you want to see. Your highest purpose cannot be achieve by magic but by miracle and you must be that miracle.

Until and unless you put in or give in your best effort into what you should be doing or your works or duties you should not be expecting anything above what you have put in or give in. it is what you sow, that you reap. God cannot bless you more than what you are putting or giving into your works simple or difficult. People avoid the path of their highest purpose because it is full of obstacles and problems and difficulties and challenges.

2.      12. The low ideals that people cherished: These ideals are created by people or the individual. Some of these ideals are low in their qualities while the other are higher in their qualities. Ideals are standards of behaviors that are aimed at or served as models for good behaviors. They are what you look up to. According to Lecky the historian, the world is governed by its ideals. The individual person is also governed by his or her ideals. Higher ideals uplift mankind. The lesser or low ideals cannot uplift the people who practices them.

The type of ideals accepted by people or an individual will help him or her to decide whether to do the right things or avoid doing the right things or to chase his or her dreams or not to follow his or her dreams. The type of ideals you cherished either pushes you forward or pulls you backward. The more low ideals people operate, the more they tend to or love to avoid doing the right things they should be doing or taking the path of their highest purpose.

Low ideals take people out of the right path or the path of their highest purpose into the wrong path. When your targets are tied to low ideals or to a low ideal, you will aim low things and when you aim low things you will chase or go after those low things and at the end of the day, you can or will only achieve the low or lower things. It is what you aim that you will get.

3.      13. Weak or soft principles of conducts or rules of conducts: What are principles? Principles are rules of conduct or behavior that guides the individual on how he or she does things or how he or she response to situations or how he or she answer the call to duty or service either for oneself or others or the organization or society. There are so many principle out there that everyone accept or choose or create that guide or guides his or her conducts.

Some principles are soft or weak while others are strong. The strong principles follow the laws of nature. They are not stated or created to displease anyone but on what is required. Sometimes, they are very harsh in their tune. While the weak or soft principles are not based on the laws of nature but of man.

They are stated or created to please the mind and the body or the flesh. The soft principles are a kind of distractions. So, people avoid doing the right things or avoid following the path of their highest purpose because they uphold the wrong principles.

4.      14. Loss of poise or not ready to jump the hurdles or challenge the challenges: Poise is great coolness and composure under strain. It is to prepare for something unpleasant or difficult. It is also mean to be in full control of your faculties.  Most people do not always get compose of what they should be mindful of. They are not always ready or prepared for something unpleasant. In this kind of situations, the individual tend to avoid the unpleasant situations even if those situations are essential and necessary to what he or she wants to achieve.

The lack of preparing one’s mind towards meeting or facing unpleasant or distasteful situations or events or things or works or duties has made people to ignore or avoid doing the things they should do or be doing. The problems on the path of your highest purpose are prices to your greatness.

But because most people do not always prepared to face unpleasant things, no matter how important those things are to the achievement of their highest purposes, they just avoid or ignore their responsibilities of tackling those things. Being poise is a strong element you must have if you are to follow the path of your highest purpose. But the lack of it is the demon in you.

5.      15. Impatient with frustration: Another thing that is making most people to prefer doing the wrong things or avoid taking the path of their highest purpose is the problem of impatience, or impatient. It makes some people to become uncomfortable with themselves and with what they want to achieve in their lives. This is the reason for acting hastily and rashly and without prudence or discernment.

People just do the things that they like or that pleases them without proper analyzes or judgement. Impatient is one of the reason many people do not get to succeed. It contribute in making people poor as well. Why? Most people end up doing the wrong things or avoid the path of their highest purpose owing to impatient.  It also makes people to become careless and unthoughtful in their actions.

When you are not patient with yourself and with what you want to achieve, you will give in to frustration and your frustration bring in depression and dismay and undue sadness. This leads you into doing the things you should not have done in the first place. Impatient and frustration have led many people into avoiding the path of their highest purpose.

6.      16. Stupidity / foolishness: Stupidity is a poor ability to understand or to profit from experience. This is the quality or state of being stupid; extreme dullness of perception or understanding; insensibility; sluggishness. Life teaches people lot of experiences but there are many people who do not care about these experiences. You are foolish when you do not learn what you should have learn out of life.

Some people behave as if they know it all but the truth is that no one is perfect. Life is a teacher and experience teacher is the best. You are to use your experience to improve your life. Your experience brings more revelation to you. But unfortunately, people do not learn from experiences of life. And so they keep repeating the same mistakes. Most times, or some people fail to follow the path of their highest purpose due to stupidity or foolishness.

It said that foolish people thinks about pleasure most of the times but wise people thinks about pains.  Their frequent thought about pleasure puts them into more problems. This makes them not to be able to cope with their duties or responsibilities. Stupidity draws people backward and hinder them from going forward in their lives.

7.      16. Wrong circle or clique of friends: The type of circle or clique of friends that an individual have also determine to some extend or degree whether he or she will avoid doing what he or she should do, or be doing. Some friends have strong compelling power over their other friends. Those friends that have power over you because certain influences if they are negative, they will affect the rest negatively.

If your circle of friends are negative, they cannot help you to achieve your highest purpose. Your friends can make you for better or mar you for worse. Your friends are governed by their principles and ideals. They will definitely share their weak principles and low ideal with you if you care. And if you care, they will make you to avoid the path of your highest purpose. So, if you must take the path of your highest purpose, your circle or clique of friends matter much.

8.      17. Unrealistic Role models or Mentors: In life, there are people we are looking up to by way of emulating them. These persons can be realistic or unrealistic or reverse role models or mentors. A model or role model is someone worthy of imitation. A mentor on the other hand serve as a teacher or trusted counselor. He or she is a wise and faithful counselor or monitor. He or she is a wise and trusted guide and advisor.

Realistic models or mentors are people who have genuine concern for you. Their lifestyles is what make them to be adopted as role models or mentors. Unrealistic models are not worth of emulation, but they may be popular and very rich yet they do not qualify to be called or taking as a models.

Reverse model or mentor are people you were once looking up and emulating them but on the current they are no longer qualify for that role. For example, the prodigal son was once a model but lose that role and become reverse role models. He was more of an unrealistic model. But unfortunately, any person that is very popular, have fame, in a high position and wealthy or every rich is assume to be a role model. This is not so.

It is a wrong way of choosing your role models or mentors. Most young people are victims of this mistake. Depending who you are looking up to as models or mentors can influences you either positively or negatively. If your models or mentor are unrealistic and reverse, you may have big problems blocking you or making you to avoid the path of your highest purpose.

9.       18. Gratification: The word gratification means indiscipline with regard to sensuous pleasures. It is that which affords pleasure; satisfaction; enjoyment; fruition; delight. It is the act of gratifying, or pleasing, either the mind, the taste, or the appetite. Self-gratification is the act of satisfying your own desires and giving yourself pleasure. Gratification has cost many people their success. Their beautiful dreams were unable to be achieve because of gratification or self-gratification.

It blind people from seeing the errors of their conducts or behaviors. It delays the process of taking a step or an action. It encourages procrastination. Gratification leads people in the wrong direction. It demote and discourage inclination to work, disposition to action, activeness in work, neglect of duties, ignoring and forgetting one’s responsibilities. It supports the soft principle, ‘enjoy yourself nothing spoil’.

But when the prodigal son was enjoying himself without carefulness and thoughtfulness, what happened to him? He wasted his wealth or riches and all his friends later abandon him. He became frustrated and this made him to regrets his stupidity and foolishness he displayed previously. Gratification often make people to avoid taking the path of their highest purpose. To follow or take the path of your highest purpose, you must learn to postpone your gratification in favor of the long-term gain.
