If You Must Catch Your Cherished Desires, Change These 19 Poor Areas of Your Life Part 2


Recollect: To catch one’s dreams take a lot of effort to do so but on the other hand certain factors contribute in making it harder to do so. All the factors are self-imposed factors. You can do well to change them if you must catch your cherished desires. Below are the poor areas of you or your life that need to be changed to catch your cherished desire easily:

1.      11. Stupidity: Stupidity is a poor ability to understand or to profit from experience. This is the quality or state of being stupid; extreme dullness of perception or understanding; insensibility; sluggishness. Life teaches people lot of experiences but there are many people who do not care about these experiences. You are foolish when you do not learn what you should have learn out of life. You are to use your experiences to improve your life. Your experience brings more revelation to you.

But unfortunately, people do not learn from experiences of life. Most times, some people fail to follow the path of their cherished purpose due to stupidity or foolishness. Stupidity blocks you from getting to where you love to be. It blinds you from seeing clearly what should be done and how it should be done. If you must catch cherished desires, you must embrace wisdom.

Wisdom is the participation of man in the intelligence of God. It is the unfading glory of God in a man’s life. It is more than just having good common sense and educational intelligence.  It is bigger and better. You need it to scale through.

2.     12. Doubt: Doubt is the lack of confidence in or have doubts about something. It is indecision, hesitation, hesitancy, irresolution, uncertainty. It is to fear; to be apprehensive. It is the uncertainty of judgement or mind. It is to fill with fear; to affright. It is the state of being unsure of something. Faith inspires people and gives strength to the mind. It affects mentality or the mind or mindset positively.

Doubt on the other hand discourages people and weakens the mind. It affects mentality or the mind negatively.  When you have doubt in yourself and in what you love to achieve, your body system adjust to your doubt and become dull and weak paving the way for the things to be done not to be done.

Doubt breaks people morale and decreases their strength and energy and vitality and makes them fearful to face the risks and to pay the price. Most people lose their sense of determination due to doubt. To catch your cherished desires, having faith or confidence is very critical and vital. It is the key.

3.      13. Fear: It is to be afraid or feel anxious or apprehensive about a possible or probable situation, or event. It is an anxious feeling. It is the lack of courage; ignobly timid and faint-hearted. It is that which causes, or which is the object of, apprehension or alarm. Fear is to suspect; to doubt. It is to be afraid, alarmed, or frightened, have apprehensions, live in terror, and stand aghast. It is to be afraid or scared of something; be frightened of something. It is an emotion experienced in anticipation of some specific pain or danger usually accompanied by a desire to flee or fight.

To catch your cherished desires, you need to become a man of valor or valiancy. Valor is the qualities of a hero or heroine; exceptional or heroic courage when facing danger (especially in battle). It is the strength of the mind in regard to danger; that quality which enables a man to encounter danger with firmness; personal bravery; courage; prowess; intrepidity. It is bravery (especially in war), courage, prowess, boldness, spirit, daring, gallantry, intrepidity, heroism.  

4.     14. Much attention on less important things or less time on important things or less attention on a task: One serious problem most people are facing is the problem of spending too much time on less important things. Day in day out people waste their precious time on the things that would not benefit them much. In such manner, that they no longer have enough time for the most important things in their lives. When you are doing every other things but what you should be doing, then that every other things are the less important things. What you should be doing is the important or more important thing. To catch your cherished desires, you must focus your mind on what you should be doing and not what you like or love.

5.     15. Less attention on a task: A peculiar success anthem says that one should pay proper and full and concentrated attention to a task. This means that you can never get a task done well or rightly or properly when adequate attention is not given to that task. Tasks are better performed when proper and full and concentrated attention is given to them. Most people in the course of trying to achieve their dreams do not want to kill themselves. They think in terms of just how little can they give to gain the object in view?

This blindfold them to give divided attention or less attention to the task at hands. And that is why they ignore and forget their responsibilities, and evade or dodge their works. To catch your cherished desires, you must learn to pay proper and full and concentrated attention to you task or work or duty.

6.     16. Unequal action towards your cherished desires and your progress in faith: Most people are not ready to match equal actions to their cherished desires and their progress in faith. Here, your cherished desires are at the top of the roof while your actions are at ground level. You cannot catch your dreams with such actions. On the other hand, your faith is progressing or increasing or getting stronger and stronger but your work does not match or equal the progress of your faith. In this case, something is wrong somewhere.

You faith cannot be progressing and your is decreasing or remaining the way they are. It is often said that faith without good work (that is work that is commensurate to the faith) is a dead faith. To catch your cherished desires, you must change your actions to be equal to your cherished desires and your progress in faith. That is your actions should not be lesser than your desires and your progress in your faith. They must be balanced.  

7.     17. Not bringing in all of your strength and intelligence into your work: The same people who want to achieve a particular goals, do not love to bring all their strength, and intelligence to do the work. They love giving part or half or little of their strength and intelligence in doing their work. That is why they do not get to do the work well or finish the work properly or neglect their duties or pay less attention to their work. When you bring in all of your strength and intelligence into your work, your work is done properly and well. You get to finish your work and you pay adequate attention to your work. You no longer ignore and forget your responsibilities again. To catch your cherished desires, learn to bring all of your strength and intelligence into your work.

8.     18. Avoiding difficult task or work: Into every work should be thrown the best that you can give, simple or difficult. You have no choice to pick which to give the best and which you will not give the best. The rule says give the best into every work simple or difficult. But the problem here is that most people do not like or love to give the best to all their works. In most cases, they go for the simple works and ignore and forget and evade or dodge the difficult ones. And that is why they do not always catch their cherished desires.

To catch your cherished desires, you must give in your best into every of your work whether the work is simple or difficult. The rule to catch your cherished desires is stated thus, prepared if bidden, to return a thousand times to the most depressing or most disagreeable or most distasteful duty.  Give it a try. You will be glad you did.

9.     19. Despair: Despair is the feeling that everything is wrong and nothing will turn out well. It is abandon hope’ give up hope; lose heart. It loss of hope; utter hopelessness; complete despondency. It is despond, lose all hope, give up all expectation, and be without any hope. We give so much power to despair and allow it to rules, dominates, governs and overcome us thereby affecting our actions negatively.

When you lose all hope, you will stop pursuing your cherished purposes or desires. It will weakens you strength and change you focus to some other lesser important things. You are no longer optimistic but rather you become pessimistic. Instead of looking at the sunny side of everything, you will rather look at dark side of things.

One reason most people get to give up or quit chasing their cherished desires is they give in to despair. To catch you cherished desires, welcome hope. Say yes to hope. Allow hope to rule and govern you and be optimistic about you catching your cherished desires.                                                                              

When you follow the rules that govern your cherished desires, you will have no cause to cry. Follow your cherished desires. They know the real way.
