8 Things That Are Needed If One Must Move From Glory To Glory
To move from glory to glory is not an easy task. To move
from glory to glory means to keep winning and winning and winning. For you to
keep winning on a continuous basis, requires you to possess certain critical
and unwavering qualities. To move from your glory to glory, these seven (7)
things are critical:
1. 1. Change the negative way you think: Let your thought be positive because the way you think, the way you act, the way you are. Our thought often affect our realities or our actions. Actions are the keys. If your thoughts are positive, they affect your actions positively but if your thoughts are negative they will affect your actions negatively. The actions that are frequently displayed reveal one’s thought. Thought is the content of cognition; the main thing you are thinking about.
It is the process of using your mind to consider something carefully. It is the act of thinking; the exercise of the mind in any of its higher forms; reflection; cognition; meditation; imagination; cogitation; judgement; musing; contemplation. Negative thought is one major problem of most people. They give way for negative actions to prevail.
People do the wrong things because of their negative thought. To move from glory to glory, change your negative thoughts and you will change your life and your world. Because when your thoughts are always positive, they give way for positive actions to prevail.
2. 2. Change your negative mentality or mindset: Mentality is the quality or state of the mind. It is a habitual or characteristic mental attitude that determines how you will interpret and respond to situations. The stress in the meaning of mentality is focus on the interpretation and respond to situations. This shows that interpretation and respond to situations by an individual can be positive as well as negative. If the interpretation is negative, the respond to the situations will be negative as well.
But if the interpretation is positive, the respond to situations will be positive as well. This is why it is often said that, mentality affects reality. The respond to situations are the actions that follow the interpretation. Our actions confirm the interpretation. They are the children of the interpretation whether positive or negative.
The things you should be doing and the things you should not be doing are depended on your interpretation of things. You can be doing the things that you should not be doing and not doing the things that you should be doing. All this is due to your interpretation. To move from glory to glory, learn to be positive in the way you interprets and respond to situations.
3. 3. Strong and indomitable attitude: This attitude is a drive or a motivator that helps you to act positively. Your attitude is your king. This means that your attitude influences or governs you all of the times. Your attitude can be positive and negative or good and bad or healthy and unhealthy or rich and poor or strong and weak or tough and soft or subduable and indomitable.
The things we imagine either good or bad are accepted or rejected by our attitude. If the things you imagine are negative, your negative attitude will accept them but your positive attitude will reject them. If the things you imagine are positive, your negative attitude will reject them, but your positive attitude will accept them. Sometimes we imagine things as impossibilities even when they are possible and by our weak and subduable attitude we render them so. Our weak and domitable attitude affect our actions or realities negatively.
We give in to disinclination to work or indisposition to actions or negligence or non-performance of duties or ignoring and forgetting responsibilities or evasion or dodging of distasteful works or most depressing duties because of our soft and weak attitude. Our attitude affect our dreams. Indomitable means unyielding, unconquerable, invincible, not to be subdued. To move from glory to glory, strong and indomitable attitude is all that you need.
4. 4. Change
your confession: Let your confession or words be positive because you
cannot go beyond the power of your words. The positive words propel you to go
the extra mile to achieve your purpose. Confession is the acknowledgment of
belief; profession of one’s faith. Your confession and your faith move hand in
hand. Your confession is based on what is in your heart.
Out of the abundance of your heart your
mouth speak. What you speak out can be positive or negative. The positive words
affect your actions positively while the negative words affect your actions
negatively. Your words influence and rule or govern your actions. If the words
of your mouth are negative, your actions will be negative and you will not be
able to do the things you should be doing.
Our words serve as standards to aim at.
When you set a very low standard through your words, you aim at a very low
standard through your actions. To move from glory to glory, change your
negative confession or words into positive ones.
5.
Change
your weak faith or doubt: Doubt is the lack of confidence in or have doubts
about something. It is indecision, hesitation, hesitancy, irresolution,
uncertainty. It is to fear; to be apprehensive. It is the uncertainty of
judgement or mind. It is to fill with fear; to affright. It is the state of
being unsure of something. Faith inspires people and gives strength to the
mind. It affects mentality or the mind or mindset positively.
Doubt on the other hand discourages people
and weakens the mind. It affects mentality or the mind negatively. When you have doubt in yourself and in what
you love to achieve, your body system respond to your doubt and become dull and
weak paving the way for the things to be done not to be done. Doubt breaks
people morale and decreases their strength and energy and vitality and makes
them fearful to face the risks and to pay the price.
The problem of not having faith that one is
going to achieve his or her dreams, or that the dreams they have can be attain
is really a big block blocking them to move forward in chasing their dreams.
When you have faith in yourself and in what you love to achieve, your body
system respond to your faith and become lively and strong paving the way for
the things to be done to be done.
Faith boast people morale and increases
their strength and energy and vitality and makes them bold to face the risks
and to pay the price. To move from glory to glory, let your faith be strong. Having
a strong faith helps to move the power of your actions from a lower level to a
higher ones. Without a strong faith you will easily give up or quit the pursuit
of a worthwhile goals.
Strong faith takes you from success to
success. Let the confidence in yourself and in what you want to achieve be a
complete confidence. It is this complete confidence that helps you to move from
glory to glory.
6.
Face the
storm or storms: The storms are the needful things you need to do. They are
things you do not need to play with or take for granted. They are the most
disagreeable or most depressing or most distasteful duties or works that you
most do. You cannot and must not avoid them. The things that you suppose to or
must do or be doing that are very difficult and tough but are very critical to
your success and goals achievement are the storms in your life or of your life.
The storms are the duties or works that you
cannot do without performing them. The failure to face the storms will prevent
you from moving from glory to glory. Our success or glory always hide behind
the storms. The difficult things or works or duties or responsibilities which
challenges you to bring out the best in you are the storms. You can never move
from glory to glory if the storms over powered you.
If you are only interested in dealing or
tackling only the simple things or works you are not yet doing the needful. By
so doing, you have not started facing the storms on your way to your glory.
Facing the storms helps you to kill the fears you have by so doing the storms
boost and improve your self-confidence thereby eliminating self-distrust. If
you do not face the storms, you will get the biggest punch of your life.
Facing the storms helps you to become
toughminded in tackling difficulties and taking responsibilities towards
achieving your target. Unless you stand and face or fight, or battle the
storms, the storms will always become stumbling blocks preventing you from
moving to your glory.
7.
Prepared
if bidden or beaten, to return a thousand times to the most disagreeable or
most depressing or most distasteful duties: Returning a thousand times to
the most depressing duty is a call to duty. That is the most disagreeable duty
must be performed or done. It is the giving out of your required and maximum
effort without complaining to achieve your highest aims or cherished goals or
purposes. Without returning a thousand times if bidden or defeated by the most
disagreeable duty, that duty remains undone.
This means you are comfortable with your
comfort zone. The more you complain, the more you remain where you are. To move
from glory to glory, get prepared if defeated by the most disagreeable or most
depressing or most distasteful duty to return as many times as possible to get
the duty defeated or bidden or overpowered or dominated or subdued.
8.
Change
your actions: Our actions are the day to day activities that we often
carried out. Many of these activities are negative and they are not align with
the goals we set for ourselves. They may also be what we are aiming. Some of
the activities are positive and they are always align with what we set to
achieve. This means that some people are aiming low based on the activities
they are always doing. Other people are aiming high or higher based on what
they are also doing.
The activities we indulge in on daily
occasions, some of them are self-enriching while some others are
self-defeating. The self-defeating actions or activities are preventers of
glory. They limit your glory. But the self-enriching actions or activities are
promoters of glory. They extend your glory.
If
you are finding it hard or difficult to do the right things or do the
self-enriching actions or activities, then it means you are stagnant. To free
yourself from stagnancy and move from glory to glory, you must engage or
indulge yourself in doing the right things or indulge yourself in doing the
self-enriching actions or activities.
Your freedom is your choice. You choose what
you want to be and you are what you choose to be.
