9 Reasons the Safest
Path or The Least Resistance Path is not always the Best Path
The safest path is the path that is secure from risk. It
concern an undertaking which is secure from risk or risks. The safest path or
the least resistance path is the unadventurous path. An unadventurous path is a
safe path or route that free from risks. There is no challenges on the way, no
obstacles, and no difficulties on the way. It is the way with smooth ride. In
this path, nothing challenges you. You cannot seek out and do what is difficult
and what challenges you. This means that the safest path or the least
resistance path has less critical and vital actions, activities, tasks or
works. The path is filled with less important activities or things that
distract people from aiming higher or do the needful. But the adventurous path
or route is the path that leads to new and daring enterprises. This path is
filled great challenges. It has difficulties, obstacles and problems of
different nature. For those who are interested in seeking out new and daring
enterprises, this is the path to follow. Those who are timid would prefer the
unadventurous path or the least resistance path. For most people, the least
resistance way is the best way to follow but most often, it is not always the
best path to follow to achieve ones dreams or highest purposes. Here are some
reasons why the least resistance path is not always the best path:
1. 1. What challenges you cannot be found on this path: The truth is that on the least resistance path, you are not likely to meet or find what challenges you. The activities here is mostly tied round momentary or short-term pleasures. The actions here are for those who don’t want to inconvenience themselves. This means that your highest purpose cannot be achieve on this path. Why? Because the activities are not in line or equal to what you really or deeply want to attain. This path is for those who to pamper themselves to the extreme. Therefore, you will not meet or see what really challenges you.
2. 2. What is difficult is not found here: On this path, you will only meet or see activities which are simple in their nature. All works here are simple. No difficult tasks or works to be perform or carryout here. When you are looking for or seeking to do what is difficult, then the safest path become the wrong path. A success principle says, ‘Seek out and do what is difficult and what challenges you’. If this is the case, the least resistance path is indeed a wrong path to follow.
3. 3. It may leads to nowhere: The safest path often lead to nowhere because you will not be able to catch certain dreams along the path or using this path. People have different dreams and these dreams can be grouped into levels. Starting from the small dreams, big dreams to your highest dreams. Each of these level of dreams has attached kind of works or responsibilities to be carryout. You cannot be doing the activities of the small dreams and be expecting the result or rewards or gains of the big dreams or bigger dreams or the highest desires. So, if you must follow the least resistance path, be mindful of the fact that you cannot catch your big or bigger dreams along the safest route. If you can’t catch certain level of your dreams using this path, it then means that, it leads nowhere.
4. 4. Your big or bigger dreams or desires are only found on the higher resistance path or highway: Unless and until you go through the highway, you will definitely not meet or see or get or catch those dreams. If so, going through the safest path becomes the wrong path. Those who have big dreams, do well to go the way of the high resistance path but those with small dreams love groping the least resistance path. The least resistance path always seems pleasurable to follow but only small desires can be attain here. If you must catch your big or bigger dreams, just stress yourself a little following the high resistance way or take the pain climbing the high way, instead of the least resistance path.
5. 5. The path may only bring short-term or urgent or momentary pleasure: If you are looking or searching for the long-term or long-lasting pleasure, then the safest path is not the ideal or best path to follow. But if your target is to gain the urgent pleasure, then the safest path is just ok for you.
6. 6. When the work or task involved demands a complete attention to tackle it: If the work demands complete or maximum attention or focus, going through the safest path may become a sheer waste of time because the safest path is full with a lot of distracting activities or distractions which will definitely block you from doing the work. Instead, you will end up doing or engaging in those distracting activities and you end up having no time for the main work. Thereby leaving the actual work behind undone.
7. 7. When the work is a simple one: If the work to be executed or carryout is a simple one, going through the least resistance path may be ok but it can as well not be ok because as simple as the work may be, distractive activities may sweep your legs off the ground and you abandon even the simple work.
8. 8. When the work is a hard one: If the task is a hard or tough one, the safest path or the least resistance path become the wrong way to follow totally, why, because the hard work does not like or require distractions. Hard works are best executed following the higher resistance path or climbing the highway. This is because there are no distractions on the highway except yourself. This means that you choose to be the distractions.
9. 9. When the work demands your full strength: Most of the works, in short, all of the main works, be it simple or difficult demand bringing or putting in your full strength into doing or dealing with it. The safest path do not require you using all of your strength while doing your work but the highway demands that you use all of your strength without reserve to do your work. This make the safest path not to be the best path for tackling of the task or work of such nature.
The above nine points justify that the safest
path or the least resistance path is not always the best path to follow to
achieve one’s dreams.
