33 Ways You Can Calm Your Unstable or Disturbed Mind Part 3

 

 

Recollect: On daily basis, we are always disturbed by different things which often lead us into frustrations, and more stress. We give in to worries and anxieties. When your mind is unstable or disturbed by so many things, you can learn to deal with or tackle the situations in several ways. Below are some of the ways to deal with or tackle your unstable or disturbed mind.

1.      21. Planning: This is the cognitive process of thinking about what you will do in the event of something happening. It is the act of formulating program for a definite course of action. To achieve your dream, you must have a plan of what you will do, how you will do it and the steps to take when things are not going as plan or how you want it. Planning helps you to stay focus on what you are expected to do. The more, you engage in planning, and planning your activities, the more stable your mind tends to be.

2.      22. Flowing and glowing: The terms flowing and glowing involved keep doing the things you are supposed to be doing. Flowing involves the act of keep moving ,keep pushing on, keep struggling, keep striving, keep going, keep pressing on, forward ever backward never and do not quit or give up. It is keep doing what you are expected to be doing. Keep facing the challenge. To go the extra-mile, flowing is very necessary. It is your ability to refuse to give up on your dreams by keep taking actions needed. 3.      23. Stop feasting on debt: There are people who take pleasure in feasting on debts. Debts are burdens on you. It often said, that you should not spend your money before you have earned it. But many people do not get along with this. They feast on credit. When you are fond of feasting on debt, your mind will not be stable, until you have settle the debts. To keep one’s mind steady and calm, one need to stop feasting on debts. Debts are big burdens. Until, you offload the debts, you are not free. And because you are not free, your mind will always be disturbed.

4.      24. Stop counting other people blessing. Learn to always count your own: There are people who love counting other people’s blessing. They are not interested in counting their own. The more you keep counting other people’s blessing, the more you tend to worry more and the more you worry yourself over nothing, the more your mind become unstable. The act of taken pleasure in counting people’s blessing breed anger, jealousy and hatred. As a result of this, it kills one’s peace of mind. And makes and keeps the mind always disturbed and unstable. To calm your unstable and disturbed mind, you must stop counting people’s blessing and keep counting your own and only your own.

5.      25. Stop comparing yourself with other people: Most times, the problem people are having is that they are busy comparing themselves with other people either negatively or selfishly. The more you keep comparing yourself with other people and the result you are getting is not to your taste, you will develop ill-feeling towards those people you comparing yourself with. Anger can creep into your mind and thus, make your mind unstable. You are no longer comfortable with yourself and with what you have achieved so far. To keep your unstable and disturbed mind calm, you must stop comparing yourself with other people.

6.      26. Learn to forgive yourself as well as others: Very often, some people do not get over the past. They dwell in the past and think much of the past and refuse to let the past go its own way. They get married to their past and their past keep influencing and dominating and manipulating them. The mistake of the past are learning tools that helps you not to repeat them. When you get stock to the past mistakes, your mind lose its stableness or stability. To free yourself from this trap, learn to forgive yourself as well as other people who might have offended you. This helps you in gaining control over your mind. By so doing, you are able to promote your stableness of mind.

7.      27. Be truthful to yourself: Most people find it too hard to tell themselves the truth about their limitations and weaknesses. They do not want to accept their limitations as well as their weaknesses. Many people cannot accept themselves the way they are. By not telling yourself the truth or by not being truth to yourself, exposes your mind to wavering and you cannot keep your mind stable. Sometimes, some people pretend to be somebody else or they fake their lifestyle just to impress some other persons. This practice makes the mind of those people who practice it unstable or unsteady. Because you are pretending, you are not too sure of yourself in the long run. Your mind will keep disturbing you. Until, you stop impressing other people, your mind will always keep disturbing you. To calm your unstableness and disturbed mind, you must stop pretending to be who you are not.

9.      29. Stop competing with other people unnecessary: Life is not a competition. So, why competing with people, when it is not a do or die of a thing. The act of competing with people has led many people into doing what they are not supposed to do. They leave what they are doing to pursue what they are not supposed to pursue. This type of competition is refer to as false competition. Because the people you are competing with do not even know they are competing with you. Some of the people, we compete with do not even know whether we are existing. We are just busy killing ourselves competing unnecessary. Competition makes people’s mind unstable. If you calm your unstable mind, you must stop competing with other people unnecessary.

10.  30. Persisting: When you persist instead of desist, you will have much control over your mind. Persisting is an ability or power to face challenges or problems squarely without wavering and giving up. It is knowing what one or you want and going after it until you get it. Persisting helps to keep one’s mind stable and calm disturbed mind.  It helps people to stay focus on their dreams. But desisting on the other hand, discourage people and makes them to give up on their dreams. The more you desist from chasing your dreams or doing what you are supposed to be doing, the more your mind becomes unstable and disturbed.

11.  31. Overcoming: Overcoming has to do with winning a victory over problems, challenges, obstacles or difficulties. It involves dealing successfully with a difficult or special difficult task or situation or problem. Overcoming helps people to develop the ability to face and challenge the problem that confront them. It also involve fighting till the end. Paying the price and standing by the work or task at hand. Overcoming keeps the mind healthy, strong and stable. The more you overcome your problems, the more you achieve stability of mind and the more your mind stays undisturbed.                                                                                                                                                                                                    

Learning to calm your unstable and disturbed mind is a huge task of its own. If your mind is not always stable, the tendency to achieve your dreams is very slim.
