Recollect: On daily basis, we are always disturbed by different things which often lead us into frustrations, and more stress. We give in to worries and anxieties. When your mind is unstable or disturbed by so many things, you can learn to deal with or tackle the situations in several ways. Below are some of the ways to deal with or tackle your unstable or disturbed mind.

1.      11. Do not allow your emotions of anger, fear, jealousy, guilt, or worries to weigh you down unnecessary: Our emotions play a very big role in our lives. Our emotions can be positive or negative. Most often, it is the negative emotions that tend to dominate most of the times. Although, this depend on the individual. When our negative emotions prevail over the positive ones, they will affect the mind as such. These emotions; anger, fear, jealousy, guilt, or worries are always capable of killing one’s peace, if allowed to dominate our lives. And they can push you as well to do what you do not intended to do and after the action or actions have been carried out then comes the regret. In order to keep one’s mind stable, always ensure you are governed by your positive emotions.

2.     12.  Always do something about your problems as soon as they arise: One of the best tactics to handle your problems is to do something about the problems, as they arise. But where the problems keep piling and piling due to procrastination and laziness, without finding solutions to the problems quickly, will result in a situation, where, you can no longer cope with the problems. As such, what happen next is the want of stability or steadiness of mind. Therefore, we should always learn to do something about problems as soon as they arise. These will go a long way to keep the mind under control.

3.      13. Always put in your best into your work: The reason for putting in your best into your work is to get the best out of it. The only magic of getting the best out of the best, is to give in the best. Most often, people do not want to give in the best into their work but want or love to achieve the best. You cannot achieve the best when the best is not given out. It is what you give that you get. Each and every time people do not put in their best into their work, they affect their mind negatively. Their mind become unstable. To get rid of unstableness of your mind, always try your best to put in your best into your work.

4.      14. Do not be afraid of the future: Most people are always afraid of the future even when the future would not harm them. People are always afraid of the future the future because they do not love to try the more. When you are afraid of the future, you mind will be shaking and wavering. It will no longer be stable or steady. But when you are not afraid of the future, your mind will be more focused on what you want to achieve thereby making the mind to be stable and undisturbed. You do not need to be afraid of the future, if you are doing what you are supposed to do. But if you are not doing what you supposed to do, your mind will definitely get disturbed and unstable.

5.      15. Always act on your positive decisions: The decisions people often act on or upon, can be negative or positive. If you act on negative decisions, it will affect your mind negatively. But if you are acting on your positive decisions, it will help the mind to stay steady and ready. Most people do find it difficult to achieve their dreams because, they do not act on their positive decisions. And by so doing, they lose their mind and their mind become disturbed. You either choose to calm your mind or to disturb your mind. The choice is yours.

6.      16. Learn to handle adversities or hardships: In the face of adversities or hardships, most people find it difficult to cope. They quickly lose their mind and by so doing, they cannot deal with or tackle the problem or problems. When you are unable to cope with your hardship, you mind tend to become unstable or unsteady and disturbed. But when you are able to handle your hardship, it goes a long way to calm your unstable and disturbed mind. Because of the inability of some people to handle their adversities, they took the wrong decision they ought not to have taken. Learning to handle adversities help to make the mind stable and undisturbed unnecessary.   

7.      17. Putting pleasure into your work: People do not put pleasure into their work in most cases. They prefer to complain about their work. The inability of people to put pleasure or happiness into their work is one the root cause of unstableness or unsteadiness of the mind. People end up doing what they are not supposed to do. They now termed it as doing what you love. You can be doing what you love without actually achieving your dreams, why? Because, what they love doing is not what they should be doing. Your ability to put happiness into your work helps you to develop and increase your stableness of your mind.                    

8.      18. Preparing: Preparing to meet and face some or certain difficulties on the way to success is a great way of keeping you mind steady. When you have prepared in advanced for something unpleasant, your mind will no longer be moving everywhere but your mind will be stable. People often experience wavering and indecision because they do not prepare for anything that is unpleasant and by so doing, in the face of such unpleasant events, they give in to fear and intimidation. They cannot deal with the situation. This leads or makes them have disturbed mind. To take care of your instability of your mind, learn to prepare for something unpleasant. This helps to keep your mind steady or stable and undisturbed.

9.      19. Planting: It is the sowing of seed in or on the ground for future growth. Planting is the act of putting something in place. It is the process of setting your priority right and then carried it out without delay. It is the first major activity towards achieving one’s goals or purpose. It is knowing what you want and what to do concerning what you want. Planting is done at a particular time or required or correct time. When this is done, it keeps the mind to be stable and undisturbed. But if not, the mind will not be stable. It will be moving here and there without control. The power to keep the mind calm and stable and undisturbed lies in planting.

10.  20. Growing: Growing is the increase from less favorable state to a more advance state. It involves knowing what to do and doing it the way it should be done. You are doing what you are supposed to do. It also involved giving your full attention to your works. Stemming from the above, growing helps to boast people confidence who have done their planting at the required or correct time. As such, their mind tend to be more stable than those who never plant or who ignore their planting. When you are doing what you are supposed to do and you are doing it well, your mind is more stable than those who do not care about what they are supposed to do. 

11.  21. Meditating: This is the act or process of meditation. Meditation is a continuous and profound contemplation on a subject or series of subject of a deep nature. It is a thoughtfulness and reflection on what one wants to do and achieve. It helps you in getting more insights about how you can handle the problems at hand. Meditation helps in keeping one’s mind stable and steady. It helps you to get better in doing the things you need to be doing and doing those things properly. 

You get better insights on how you are going to do the things, you ought to be doing. Without meditation, the tendency to do your things anyhow without a guide is very high. Meditation serves as a guide that helps you to do your things well. This is why meditation helps to calm your unstable mind and keep it undisturbed.
