11 Ways to Pay the Price to Gain the Crown

No cross; no crown goes the success anthem. Without paying the price, you can gain the crown. But the question is, how can I pay the price to gain the crown? Or what must I do to gain the crown? To answer these questions, let’s take a look at the following factors:

1.      1.  You should avoid every other things except what you are expected or required to do: There are many things out there demanding your attentions. Some of them are grouped under every other things while some fall under what you are expected or required or supposed to do. Most of us are easily carried away by every other things simply because, the things are either simple or pleasant or they love it because it make them happy or comfortable. While the main things or what is required of us or what we are expected to do or what we are supposed to do are just distasteful or unpleasant or disagreeable or depressing in nature. Most people get carried away because of the simple nature of the works. They never take their time to study the works or actions or activities under this category. Most often, the gains are short-lived but the main things even when they are depressing, they are good to be tackle and dealt with. Because they carry long-term profits.

2.       2. You should do both the simple and the difficult work that make up your work: You are called by your heart to do both the simple and the difficult work. But most often, people love to do only the simple ones. They tend to ignore and forget the difficult ones. Unknowing to them the difficult works are the main things that take the bigger chunk of the cake. As I said earlier, the works with the greater benefits are the difficult ones. It is not an option to choose between the simple works and difficult ones. We are to do both without the compromising of standard. To quickly gain the crown, the difficult works are recommended.

3.       3. You are to use full or all of your strength in doing your work or duty: To gain the crown, the individual will have to bring all of his or her strength into the work. No keeping of certain part of the strength somewhere to be use later. As if you are ask to save or reserve part of your strength. The failure by people to bring all of their strength into their work has cost them huge fortune. The statement I can’t kill myself is really a very weak or soft or poor or negative statement. The meaning of the statement is that I am not interested in using my full strength in doing my work. And without bringing all of my strength into my work, I can’t gain the crown.

4.       4. Pay the complete and proper or concentrated attention to your work: There is a level of attention that is required to do that your work. This attention must be a complete and concentrated attention. The improper or divided attention is not always the best attention to be given to a critical work. Divided attention is often the reason many works are left unfinished or undone. To get a critical work done, required given the maximum attention to the works at hand without compromising the attention.

5.       5. Go through the problem: This is one way of paying the price to gain the crown. Here, you are required to go through your problems. Going through a problem means pursue the problem to a conclusion or bring to a successful issue or completion. The problem here is that most of us don’t like to go through their problems instead they love or prefer to go around their problems or challenges. Going around a problem means to avoid the problem or something unpleasant or laborious. If you love going around your problems, you may gain urgent pleasure. If you can’t go through your problems, you will not be able to gain the crown. 

6.       6. You do not think of just how little can I give to gain the object in view but you think of how much can I give to gain the object in view: Most people who do not want to pay the price to get the crown often think less or negative, they think in term of just how little they can give to gain the object in question. And by so doing, they never give the much that is expected of them. Most people have this problem of not wanting to bother themselves to gain the object in view. They want the object in view on a Plata of gold without stress or hustle. The truth is that you cannot get the crown by miracle when you do not want to be the miracle.

7.       7. Give in the best that you can give into your work: This success anthem demands that the best must be given into the work one is doing in order to be able to achieve much from the work. But most often, people prefer to give in even the worst into their work. They are not interested to give in the best effort as possible as required. They keep complaining about the work as if the work is a kind of punishment. And as a result of these complaining, they give little effort. Until the best effort is put into the work, the work would not gain you the crown.

8.       8. Doing what is expect of you well and at the right time: Most times, one major problem that people are really suffering from is the problem of not doing the right thing well and at the right time. For example, as a teacher, I often come across students who do not want to copy their note well and at the right time. You will have to force them to do this right action frequently before they can cope. This kind of habit cannot help you to gain the crown honestly speaking. Even when you are doing the right thing, if you fail to do that right thing well as expected or required, and at the right time, you will not get the result required or expected.

9.       9. Attend to your work first before attending to your pleasure: There is this success adage that goes thus, ‘Duty first; pleasure thereafter’. The emphasis here is laid on duty and not no pleasure. Therefore, it is believed that duty is far more important than pleasure because, you can only sustain your pleasure by doing the duty. But due to the call by the flesh to please the flesh, most people have ignorantly make their pleasure their first priority. And that is why they suffer the more. Pleasure will not help you to gain more pleasure or to sustain the pleasure but duty does. This means that, if you fail to attend to your duty or responsibility, you may succeed in gaining momentary pleasure but with long term sorrow. Unless you attend to your duties or responsibilities as it should, you will probably not be able to gain the crown.

10.   10. Bring all your intelligence into your work: When your work is being carried out without bring in all your intelligence, the tendency not to do the work well is very high. It is the action of applying our intelligence into our work that count much. Most people do not get to do their work properly because, they use little part of their intelligence in doing it while the much part of their intelligence was reserved for something else that is of less important. Most prefer to act quickly and without care or prudence that is why they fail to bring in all their intelligence into their work. To gain the crown, you must bring in all your intelligence into your work and not part of it.

11.   11. Return or go back as many times as possible, if bidden to the most disagreeable or most depressing duty: There are certain work by their nature, they are very disagreeable or depressing. You cannot just get it done once most often. It required you to repeat the actions repeatedly to get the work done. This is where most people often meet the test of either to quit or to keep fighting. But in most cases, most people desist in getting the work done. To get or gain the crown, you must prepare if bidden, to return a thousand times to the most disagreeable or most depressing duty. Until and unless you get sure work done, you are just dreaming. You will not be able to gain the ultimate crown.                                                                        

The salient truth is that from the above analysis, to gain the crown is indeed a marathon and you or one must be ready or prepared to run the marathon. Because it is a do or die affair or activity. Finally, if you do not want the crown, do not bother yourself. But if you do want the crown, then kill yourself.
