Life is meant to be enjoyable and pleasurable. It is a good thing to live a life of happiness and joy as long as the enjoyment, pleasure, happiness and joy would not in any way affect us negatively as we struggle to achieve our dreams and heart desires. As we try hard to live this life of happiness and  pleasure, we are often carried away by pleasure. There are certain things that we like doing in the attempt to gain pleasure and happiness, we and up doing those things that give us pleasure in a wrong ways.

This time, I will be discussing the things that some people often do that impoverish them:
(1). They spend their money before they have earn it: The Bible said that, some people feast on credit when they nothing in their pocket. Just because you want to experience pleasure does not give the right to begin using your money that is not yet in your possession. To succeed in life financially, one need to be calculative in his spending. If not, be rest assured that poverty will soon be your biggest friend.
(2). They spend money beyond their income level: They are spending above the limit of their income. Sometimes, the kind of expenses some people indulge in show that they are not prudent in spending. Any thing that interest them, they just want to have those thing before they are happiness. If your salary or income is for instance $2 per day and you are spending up to $3 a day because of lack of discipline, certainly you are impoverish yourself.

(3). Excessive pleasure: When the pleasure one is seeking become too much, you will end up putting yourself into problem. The more you spend on pleasure, the more you lose financially. Just as students lose much for playing too much, so also, too much of pleasure seeking is very bad. It will damage your future.

(4).High frequency of impulse buying:  In the quest to enjoy yourself, some people do engage in impulse buying. Impulse buying is buying things that you may not use or need later. Just because those things or items are shinning or appealing to the eyes. Most of the impulse buying are buying without planning. A sudden kind of buying just because there money in your hand.
(5). They hate hard work: The Bible also said that, we should work hard and become a leader but if you are lazy, it is your problem. you will certainly become poor. Those who hate hard work are preparing their way for poverty to come and dwell in their houses.

(6). They take pleasure in great luxury: Some people indulge in expensive life styles may be to please their ego and other people around them. Expensive style of living is dangerous to your finance or income. This is one major cause of poverty of some people. They have it before but now, they have damage it.

(7). Excessive drinking: This is a very sensitive aspect of pleasure for most people, drinking per say is not bad. What is bad here, is when the drinking become too excess. Many people have lost their life all because of excessive drinking. It is the chief causes of poverty for many people.
If one consider these factors or reasons for why some people are getting impoverish, you will discovered that most of the times the attention is more focus on things that encourage spending than on things that encourage saving and investment. It is always true that the more people spend, the less they save for the future.
