Relationship and friendship are very important component of societal living. As you know, no man is an inland. No man can survive alone, therefore, social interaction is very necessary to our everyday living. People do so many things that can affect the relationship they keep. Some of these things are done intentionally most at times. Some of the reasons for breakups of relationship can be major while others may be minor reasons.                                                                                                             

Here are 15 reasons for breakup of relationship:                                                                                   

(1). Pride: One of the major reason that is responsible for breakup of many relationship is pride. Pride prevent you from seeing things from the other perspective. One partner with pride, show little or no consideration to the other person. He or She value self  more than the partner. He or She is full of  himself or herself.. Pride is a big killer of relationship.                                                                               

 (2). Lies: Lie is telling an untruth story; pretending with intent to deceive the other person in the relationship for your personal satisfaction or advantage.                                                                       

(3). Incompatibility: Incompatibility is the quality of being unable to exist or work in congenial combination with the other partner in a relationship. This mean that certain behavior of the person or values are in conflict with the other person values.                                                                                   

(4). Multiple Relationship: This type of relationship is very common these days, where a lady or a man is involve in two or relationship at the same period or time. if any if the partner in a particular relationship discovered that his or her partner is having another affair out this very one, the tendency for the relationship to break up is very high except if the relationship is more a sexual relationship.

(5). Insincerity: Insincerity is the quality of not being open to one and another or untruthful to each other, deceitful or hypocritical to one another. Insincerity is lack of seriousness in a relationship.         

(6). Misunderstanding: This is the understanding of something that is not correct. It is putting the wrong interpretation on something. When there is lack of understanding among the partners which often leads to one quarrel or the other.                                                                                               

(7). Little Money/ Lack of money(finance): One major causes of frequent break up in relationship is the issue of little money or lack of money. Some partners are not interested to suffer with the other partner in the relationship, they therefore, fine excuse to break the relationship.                                             

(8). Lack of communication: Poor communication is another factor that some time leads to relationship breakups. When the communication is not effective between the partners, it can harm the relationship.                                                                                                                                               
 (9). Impatient: In most relationship nowadays, the partners in the relationship are not  patient with themselves any longer because of one reason or the other, they quit the relationship. This sometimes happened when the man has no job yet or adequate financial resources to meet up in the relationship.

(10). Nagging or unnecessary complain: frequent complain from either of the parties in the relationship concerning irrelevant issues or unnecessary faultfinding against the other is another reason for relationship break up.                                                                                                               

 (11). Lack of attention: when either of the partner do not have attention for the relationship, the tendency for the relationship to crash is high.                                                                                           

(12). Poor Concern or interest: When there is poor interest in the relationship from either of the partner in the relationship will definitely affects the life of the the relationship. If, either of the party in the relationship is not too serious with the relationship, this will leads to break up.                         

 (13). Inability to Listen to one another: Poor listening to each other when a partner has a feeling to share. Lack of not being able to engage in effective listening is another cause of  break up in a relationship. Listening is the first duty of love.                                                                                     

(14).Poor Religious Attraction: In a any relationship, the two parties try to find something about the other person, if some of what they experience as a behavior from each other is not encouraging, it might result in break up. For example , what is the prayer life of each of the partner in the relationship is one area of consideration.                                                                                                   

 (15). Dishonesty: As the saying goes, 'honesty is the best policy', any relationship that is characterized by frequent dishonest behavior can result or cause a break up in the relationship.
